The funding is set to fuel transformative projects aimed at creating a more inclusive, supportive, and accepting environment for the LGBTQIA+ community in County Clare. Among the key initiatives that will benefit from this funding are:
1. Clare Pride 2024: A Celebration of Diversity and Unity
QuareClare is gearing up for Clare Pride 2024, a community-driven Pride event that promises to be a vibrant celebration of diversity and unity. This inclusive gathering will provide a safe space for LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies to come together and celebrate their identities. Featuring LGBTQIA+ artists, musicians, performers, guest speakers, informational booths, and networking opportunities, Clare Pride 2024 is poised to be a landmark event in County Clare.
2. Visibility Campaign: Challenging Stereotypes and Promoting Positive Representation
The funding will contribute to a multimedia Visibility Campaign, sharing stories of achievements, contributions, and challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals in County Clare. 3. Awareness Workshops in Schools: Fostering Inclusivity and Combating Bullying
